I`d like to tell you about the most popular US newspaper "The New York Times"

The New York Times  - the third most popular (after The Wall Street Journal and USA Today) newspaper USA. As the bulk of U.S. newspapers, The New York Times created a regional edition. However, the concept of regional media is not prevented her from becoming one of the most influential newspapers in the world.

The owner

The owner of The New York Times in 1896, is the Sulzberger family. In 1960, after the publisher went public, the family continues to control the newspaper, having owned a controlling stake in Class B. The owners of Class A shares have limited voting rights. This dual system allows owners to keep control of the company after it went public. Sulzberger family owns 88% of shares of Class B.
